Zuckerberg: Facebook will transform music, TV, news & books Posted: 27 May 2011 06:52 AM PDT Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg says music, TV, news and books are going to be transformed by social media and Facebook in much the same way video games have been. He’s right – what we’ve seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg of the cultural revolution coming in those mediums. “Listening to music is something people do with their friends,” he said. “Movies, TV, news, books — those types of things are things I think people just naturally do with their friends. I hope we can play a part in enabling those new companies to get built, and companies that are out there producing this great content to become more social.”
